Having a metal plate screwed into your wrist bones hurts a hell of a lot.
Percoset makes you really sleepy, especially if you're having to take one every 2 hours to manage the paib from the aforementioned plate and screws.
It's only somewhat reassuring to hear the surgeon say "The surgery went well, we got all the pieces of your wrist put back together!" PIECES, people.
